NOVEMBER: A MONTH TO CHANGE GEAR AND CRUISE IN ANAMBRA - Umunnakwe

"REJOICE NDI ANAMBRA: NOVEMBER IS THE MONTH TO CHANGE GEAR AND CRUISE ON SOLUTION EXPRESSWAY" - Hon Jude Umunnakwe

By Okey Emmanuel ODEWAIWAI

Hon Jude Umunnakwe, SSA to Gov Soludo on Political Mobilization, has described November as the month to change gear for a cruising life in Anambra. The Orumba South popular politician stated this while welcoming the month of November in a company of some associates in his home.

According to Ogbuehi - as Umunnakwe is popularly known among his peers - November 2025 is a historic month in Anambra, a month when Ndî Anambra shall renew their contract with their revolutionary leader, Gov Charles Chukwuma Soludo.
"I have been anxiously and expectantly waiting to witness this month. It means a lot to me. Anambra shall be marking another milestone in their political life this November. For me it's a month of changing gear for a cruising life with our god-sent leader, Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo", Chief Umunnakwe said.

When asked why he is so confident that things would be a lot better in Soludo's second tenure, Ogbuehi had this to say:
"Gov Soludo is one man that has never said what he cannot do. I have heard him say in various fora that all he had done in his first tenure are mere preparatory grounds to what he set out to do in Anambra. And if all these great feats that he achieved in the first tenure are mere intro, I can tell you that Ndî Anambra are going into the proverbial African Dubai-Taiwan in his second tenure", Umunnakwe declared. He further described Soludo's developmental feats as "Solution Expressway".

Welcoming the new month of November, Ogbuehi told his friends, colleagues, associates and admirers to receive the month with happiness and joy. According to him, embracing November with happiness - as a penultimate month of the year - shall lead us to that most joyful month of December when we shall close the year with shout of Hallelujah!

In his closing prayer, he asked God for a very peaceful election and smooth transition to a new tenure for Governor Soludo. He also asked God to keep all his friends, colleagues, associates, and indeed every Anambra person alive to witness the end of the year in good life and happiness.

ON THE ORUMBA SOUTH APGA CAMPAIGN COUNCIL

HON JUDE UMUNNAKWE AND THE TASK BEFORE ORUMBA SOUTH CAMPAIGN COUNCIL IN SECURING OVERWHELMING VICTORY FOR GOV SOLUDO

By Okey Emmanuel ODEWAIWAI

I have known Hon Jude Umunnakwe for some years and, honestly, I  admire his zeal and doggedness towards achieving political goals.

I met Ogbuehi - as he is fondly addressed by his admirers - today in a function. I walked straight to him and got audience to have a chat with him on some issues, especially with regards to Orumba South politics. My discussions with him endeared me the more to him as he bared his mind on some political stunts necessary in giving our Solution governor, Mr Ólûatûegwû, Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo a resounding victory come Nov 8, 2025.

Excerpt:

*Odewaiwai* - Great day Honourable.
*Umunnakwe* Greetings Odewaiwai. You're here! Hope you are enjoying this occasion?

*Odewaiwai* - Fine Chief. I know you are having a very busy schedule now especially as the Anambra Nov 8 Gubernatorial election approaches.
*Umunnakwe* - Sure! We have a tough challenge facing us now with regards to the election - not just to deliver Mr Governor in Orumba South but to give him resounding victory. We need to win, if possible, in all the polling units, not just the wards. I can tell you it's not a walk in the park and so it requires walking round the clock.

*Odewaiwai* - I saw that the Orumba South APGA Campaign Council just had their inaugural meeting. How did it go?
*Umunnakwe* - It went well. Most of the stakeholders attended the meeting. That shows you how seriously every right thinking APGA stakeholder takes the election. Our leaders made speeches, each emphasizing the importance of the election in our LG.

*Odewaiwai* - You keep emphasizing *the importance of the Nov 8 election". What exactly makes it very important, or are you afraid of losing to the opposition?
*Umunnakwe* - Not all! If it's about the opposition winning in Orumba South we will all go and sleep. Even without any single campaign in Orumba South, Ólûatûegwû will win in our local government. I told you earlier that we want to give Mr Governor a resounding victory especially in Orumba South. Remember that election is like going out for hunting. After every hunting expedition, you come back to share the booties. What you get from the booties depends on the quantity and size of the game that you killed.

*Odewaiwai* - (interjected). So, in this case, what is the governor going to share at the end of the day?
*Umunnakwe* - Odewaiwai you are asking me? Don't you know that the number of political appointments and democracy dividends that you get depends, one way or the other, on the number of votes which a region gives the governor. Yes, Mr Governor remembered Orumba South very well in the last appointments and in the infrastructural developments. But we need a lot more. You know this Oliver Twist thing happens to us in politics.
(_Laughter_)

*Odewaiwai* - I read the appreciation letter from Hon Cyprian Okereke, the Orumba South LGA Campaign Chairman. In the letter, he praised the roles played by the various stakeholders in the said inauguration meeting. In your own case, he praised you in a special way for bringing foods and drinks in the meeting. What actually motivated you to go this extra mile?
*Umunnakwe* - Odewaiwai I wish you can enter my heart and see how desirous I am to get Orumba South score highest for Gov Soludo among other LGs in this election. Before the meeting, which I considered very crucial, I knew the attendees will be exhausted after long deliberations. I also knew that when people are going home from such brainstorming session the mood with which they go will affect their determination to implement decisions reached. So I decided to take the challenge of refilling them after the meeting. Mark you, nobody asked me to do this, and I didn't beg anybody to assist me. What I did was my little token to appreciate everyone that attended.

*Odewaiwai* - You are the Senior Special Assistant to Gov Soludo on Political Mobilization, how set is your party in mobilizing every electorate for APGA.
*Umunnakwe* - Well, there's no way I can explain it here. Gov Soludo's extra-ordinary performance in every aspect of governance in Anambra is already speaking for him. Remember that it was a man in the village that nicknamed him Ólûatûegwû. He has touched the life of every onyé Anambra one way or the other. But that not withstanding, we are leaving now stone unturned to get Ndî Anambra return Mr Solution - even much more than they did in the first election that brought him to government house. Just watch and see.

*Odewaiwai* - With this encouraging words - Watch and See - I thank you, Ogbuehi for this wonderful time with you.
 *Umunnakwe* - Thank you, Odewaiwai.
